Abstract:

We report the results of the timing studies of the Kuraray 3HF fibers done at ODU. The goal of this study was to determine if the timing resolution of the fibers alone in the planned Start detector for Hall D would be sufficient for the experiment or if an additional conventional timing detector would be needed.
