After talking with Rebecca there may be a snag. She's not sure we'll be allowed to run power from one grid, the Counting House, to a different grid, the hall. I will try to get Tim to get Giles to figure this out.

If we cannot run UPS power to the hall from the Count House we'll have to use separate UPS's in the hall, most likely multiple small ones instead of one large one.

No problem running power to hall according to Paul Powers.

Tim says Giles is now in charge of installing the UPS in the Rack Room and running circuits to the Counting House and hall. He will collect requirements for the hall to see if running power there is necessary...we might get away with small UPS's here and there. Running UPS power to a panel in the hall might be expensive, much more than the cost of small UPS's.

But note that small ones must be replaced every two years!

Harris will run power from utility room to rack room later this week or early next week. Tom will move UPS into counting house by then.

Fernando is strongly against running UPS power to the hall, he prefers to locate FCC Class B UPS's wherever needed. Giles will work out the cost to do this compared to running power from the counting house UPS (Class A) to the hall. Note that Paul and Walt claim that small UPS's must be replaced every two years, although some people dispute this.

Almost decided to run power from UPS in Rack room to hall using line filters to bring the power to FCC Class B specs. Giles is responsible. Will likely happen this fall.
