  3. MWPC move
    • MWPC Move (Rory)
    • Packing a) VSX crate and b) MWPC (160 lbs) on casters
    • Rented van with ramp. Start packing tomorrow morning.
    • Rory plans to drive down Thu. Start about 6:30 am. Travel I-84, I-81, I-95 to avoid city traffic. Arrive late on Thu. Park in Residence Facility
    • Meet Friday morning (about 9 am)
    • Need 4 persons to lift detector onto saw horses (with rubber strips)
    • 1/4-20 bolts attach casters to frame
    • 8 straps to support the MWPC in truck
    • Rory will bring tools for unloading.
    • Open detector to check for damage.
    • Tom suggested that we investigate clean room options in case one is needed.
  4. Preparations to operate
    • Tom has Ar/C02 90/10 and 60/40 gas but not 80/20, which is on order (may arrive Friday). Otherwise use 90/10 to flush detector
    • Tom is collecting regulator, flow controller and bubbler (with oil)
    • Rory will bring swage disconnect males to connect chamber hoses (1/4")
    • There are some eyes on the chamber that will be used to secure the MWPC in truck, but should not be used for lifting. Rory will bring the paperwork for the eye.
    • HDList activity needs to be added (Elton). Beni is completing the TOSP.
    • Tim has completed the ODH calculation and it is circulating for signatures.
    • The outer plates of the chambers need to be connected to clean ground. Chamber support should be isolated from the forward carriage.

    • Meeting terminated abruptly due to fire alarm.
