Minutes

Attending: Beni, David, Zisis (JLab), Christina (Athens), Will, Alam, Elias (USM), Shaun, Tegan (Regina)

  1. Announcements: None
  2. Review of Action Items: Beni believes the only item has been addressed since SeeVogh is working.
  3. Monitoring: The next version of the NIM Monitoring paper will be released this afternoon. Zisis checked the Satistronics orders and confirmed that the UV-violet LED is 380-400nm, so he changed it to 390 nm in the paper.
  4. Status of testing at Regina: (Email from Andrei) We continue the gain measurements of SiPM 76 with 16-channel board using the photoelectron peaks from the scint. fiber and Sr90 source. Laura made a scan down to zero degrees, and today Tegan and Laura will try to go down to something like -25C.
  5. Update from JLab: LG gluing is complete. Since the magnet test went well, the BCAL installation could start next week. There are plans to move the cradle to the upstream platform in the next few days.
  6. Update from USM: Elias reported that all is as per his email to JLab. Alam will be at JLab from Aug 12 to the end of the year.
  7. Beam Tests, Cosmics: Shaun continues the fitting on cosmics from all calorimeter modules.
  8. Reconstruction and simulation: next meeting is this Thursday.
  9. Other: Zisis announced (to applause) that this is the last Readout Meeting. Next week we have a Calorimetry meeting, and we will continue those every two weeks on that slot. We will probably move the Reconstruction Meetings to the (old) Readout slots.
