CDC finding signal duration

Stripes are +/- 1sigma and 2sigma.

Try this: search backwards from end sample, looking for change in ADC value going below -2sigma (or -1sigma if -2sigma not found, or min value if -1sigma not found), then search forwards until change in ADC value goes +ve.

That gives the following for the above events: (run 31810) 260, 258, 295, 293, 264 and (run 31809) 242, 230, 281, 301, 268

Changed this to search for change in ADC value going below -1sigma, or min value if -1sigma not found, then search forwards until change in value goes +ve

Look at difference between chunks of 2 and 4 samples, summed, stripes are +/- 1, 2, 4, 8, 10sigma.
