Review of minutes from the last meeting

We looked over the minutes from the meeting on January 11. Sean reported that he found and fixed the issue with the 4 ns time offset in CPP simulated data.

Pull Requests on GitHub

Sean described Pull Request #202, "Fix for TAGH hits for the SRC/CT experiment." Tagger counters, at photon energies lower than those in the microscope region are missing. This is due their accepted energy range being set to zero, causing unfortunate side-effects. This situation was introduced in the solution to Issue #182, "Incorrect TAGH counter number assignment." Richard will review the changes proposed in the pull request.

New Frontiers

We discussed other areas of the simulation that need study/development. Among them:

  • Kaons in the forward direction
  • Slow kaons in the BCAL
  • Cerenkov photons in the light guides of the FCAL
  • Neutrons and KLs
