Attendees: Bill,Olga,Igal,Sasha,Tegan,Zisis,Jane,Arshak,Tim B.,Jon,Liping,Susan,Phil,S.T.
- Sasha went over preparations from mass production of FCAL2 modules
- Inventory of SICCAS crystals that NPS does not plan to use: ~440 "good" crystals
- Detector support group started working on pre-shaping ESR, also will work on wrapping
- Equipment for GWU (for production of silicon cookies): airflow box, vacuum chamber, pump
- Arshak and Sasha started producing cookies and light guides
- Chris A. working on brazing brass strips (some assemblies too small)
- Arshak and Sasha constructed 14 new modules
- Takes about 30-40 minutes per module
- Can produce ~20/week/person
- Keeping track of progress on google drive
- PMT divider work on hold in favor of module production for now
- Arshak working on light monitoring system
- Enough parts to construct plexiglas prototype for 5x5 crystal array
- Loan agreement and contract with GWU in the works
- Tegan presented an update on photon reconstruction efficiencies using single and double photon gun simulations
- Island and default algorithms have almost the same efficiency as a function of angle for single photons
- Efficiency profile tracks with conversions in material upstream of FCAL
- Comparison of 2-photon separation between two algorithms still needs work
