- No news regarding new crystal production -- Sasha will contact SICCAS
- Still need to check the crystals we have -- need to be in MedCON-4 or lower
- Moving to various levels of MedCON tied to phases of reopening in VA
- Jane reported that policy for business travel in China is changing day-by-day, no word if she can go to Shanghai to check yet
- Can SICCAS ship to Wuhan? Not clear, better to check crystals on Shanghai site
- Still need to check the crystals we have -- need to be in MedCON-4 or lower
- mu-metal shields: ends were out of spec, company has developed new tooling, expect improved versions (20 pieces) week of 6/29
- Also expect 20 PMT housings from Curtis
- Light guides: found local vendor: diamond cut plus hand polish, expect samples soon
- Sasha working with Vlad P. and Fernando on modified version of PMT base
- Reduce divider current: modify resistor chain
- Plan is install revised versions on COMCAL, with goal to replace all COMCAL bases
- Igal working on preparing simulations for FCAL-2
- Asked if we will need new tables in ccdb -- probably yes
- Asked what the energy threshold per block is expected be -- Sasha: 15 MeV
- Asked what trigger to use for trigger efficiency determination -- Sasha: start counter + tagger is available, plus can use trigger emulation
- Can we include COMCAL in trigger?
- Rate concerns: may need to prescale non-standard triggers for actual running
- Phil working on joining GlueX
- Has student (Jared) who can come to Jlab for 10 weeks in the fall
