Calibrations

Minutes

Attendees: Bill, Sasha, Drew, Vlad, Igal, Hakob, Zisis, Axel, Liping, Jane, S.T.

  • Reconfigured MPOD for low voltage to measure voltage at end of cable
    • Voltage drop ~0.5 V
    • for consistency in setting voltages for dividers
  • ECAL final check with LMS looking at waveforms
    • Found 2 swapped channels, now fixed
    • Everything okay except for one missing channel due to fiber, cosmics look okay
  • Work on building small prototype for test on positron PS arm in hall proceeding
    • 5x5 array lead tungstate + 5x5 array lead glass for measuring shower profile and studying transition region
      • Lead glass currently in ESB
    • Borrowed conventional bases
    • Will use COMCAL box
    • Assembly is heavy, need to identify table that can accommodate weight, identified one currently used by EIC folks
    • VXS crate installed
    • Need 2 more FADCs
  • Still considering building a small veto counter to cover region not covered by TOF
