- Still waiting for word from SICCAS regarding delivery of remaining crystals...
- Will need to spend money soon
- Have dedicated meeting next week regarding strategy?
- Sasha prepared several brass strip assemblies
- Working on brazing procedure -- can get good results with sufficient care when applying the procedure
- Chris from Tim W.'s group will take over brazing in the future, part time.
- Sasha updated the overall procedure for module production
- Some parts to assist with the assembly are 3d-printed: these can be outsourced to U. Regina and UNCW
- Have new digital scale for mixing components for silicone cookies
- Sasha worked with Vlad B. measuring PMT diameters for NPS
- NPS is using the same model of PMT, so plan to arrange trade when our order comes in -- they can use diameters that we cannot use due to tolerance
- Sasha continues to check performance of CCAL dividers
- Fernando has prototype PCB layout for divider with amplifier planned for FCAL-2
- Liping hopes to send students in summer; not clear that they will be allowed to come
- Simon presented Igal's new results for dark scalar search using S→γγ and S→e+e-
- Azizah met with Simon regarding the Island algorithm and Rebecca from IU regarding machine learning algorithm for hadronic split-offs in the FCAL
