Agenda

Minutes and Action Items

  • UMASS has 7 Chambers Built
  • Current design uses 6 chambers
  • Need 5cm lead US of detector
  • Need to determine best orientation of 1st chamber
  • Need 60" x 60" active area - need to optimize steel shape
  • Since CDC will not be used during this experiment, we can use the Ar/C02 system from that
  • Possible installation Fall 2021
  • 8cm x 8cm hole needed in steel. Can have radius in corners
  • If the DIRC needs to be moved out for the experiment, the CPP support needs to be able to move with the FCAL platform
  • Stephanie will start the 3D modelling and layouts
  • Tim will start the structural calculation
