Minutes

Attending:Jack, Nick, Chris, Elton, Jim, Eugene

  1. Announcements
  2. Action Items
  3. Schedule, reporting, and manpower (Elton)
  4. SiPM production testing (everyone)
    • SiPMs assignment for new boards
    • Decided that a "random" distribution of SiPMs might be best for this set of boards.
  5. Mechanical (Jim)
    • Glue is in for RTD and Cooling tubes
    • Converting SiPM machined tray to molded part, which includes bosses
    • Joseph is putting together box for testing the readout.
    • Chiller: Check range of temperatures can cool SiPM in the range of 5 - 60 deg C. (The higher temperatures are needed for annealing the SiPMs)
  6. Temperature compensation (Jack)
    • Has code operational that can be used to determine overlaps between jumper settings. He will coordinate with Yi.
    • Also starting to develop the front and back views for jumper settings.
  7. Preamp-summing (Chris)
    • All 4000 populated U-boards are completed
    • Transition boards and thermistor boards (production) have been ordered
    • All HFL and UFL cables are on order and most are in but not all
    • The two readout boards are out to be populated, expected in about 10 days.
    • Thermal mats need to be ordered.
    • Cooling loops need to be brazed in.
    • 14-pin trim trio connectors are in, replacing the three previous connectors
    • The circuit board and micro-Dsub connector for the monitoring board needs to be made. Chris and Jim will discuss after the meeting.
  8. Light guide gluing setup
    • The vent hoods are being fabricated
    • Light guide production has been delayed due to a broken part in the milling machine. Light guides are now expected in a couple of weeks.
