Action Items

  • Send Todd a geometry of tagger area, including the mapped tagger magnet field, for GEANT simulations (Richard). Sasha defined geometry, Richard will add field map
    • Sasha needs to update geometry with girder.
    • Richard has not had time to add Dan's new field. For now use the old field.
  • Estimate rates and ranges of parameters needed for the photon beam tuning (Todd for accelerator; Elton, Hovanes, Eugene, Alexandre for Hall D)
    • Need rates for profiler, start counter, ps
  • Prepare plan for placing the profiler monitor at collimator, target and beam dump (Alexandre) Alexandre talked to Tim about designing the necessary stands. Hovanes will order cables that can reach the end of the collimator hut.
  • Material for review due July 29: draft of presentations and all pre-brief material
    • Drafts have been uploaded. Pre-brief material will be passed to reviewers early next week. Talks should be made available for comments early in the week. Elton will post them at noon on Thu.

    • The tables were discussed and agreed they are current.

    1. Commissioning draft is getting feedback from Elton and then from Eugene
    2. Discussion on backspash detector
      • Consensus is that halo monitors and profiler monitor should provide similar information.
  5. Radiation monitors and controls (Pavel)
    1. Discuss draft RSAD. Conditions as originally planned, but commissioning period is short compared to full experiment. Boundary doses should not be compromised for this period.
