PrimEx-D RC Summary for Dec 5-11, 2018

During the period of Dec 5-11, we had beam in the experimental hall only for the first five days. Then beam was turned off at 6:00am on Dec 10 in order for MCC to perform energy change from 1. 83 GeV/pass to 1.61 GeV/pass. The main activities during this week are as following:

1. Initial production trigger rate and CompCal rate study were carried out.

2. CompCal Calibration and performance study were performed and completed at 11:30pm on Dec 8:

§ Snake scan in raw mode

§ energy and position resolution study

§ Quick scan with TAC and CCAL triggers to study CompCal energy leakage and inefficiency in production mode

3. Compton production data collection on LH2 target with 150nA current started at 12:00am and ended at 3:37pm on Dec 9 (Sunday). A total of 752M events are collected.

4. Took empty target data with 300nA current from 4:00pm on Dec 9 until 6:00am on Dec 10. A total of 201.5M events are collected
