Dear Colleagues,

I served as Hall D run coordinator for the week ending Wednesday.

During this period the GlueX experiment focussed on production, postponing most testing until more statistics have been accumulated. The accelerator encountered a number of extended down periods but was able to remain up for 55% of the scheduled time. We were able to take data efficiently during this time taking 8 billion triggers and more than doubling the statistics for this run.

There were improvements to DAQ stability, and beam tuning procedures and large improvements to the robustness and usefulness of the monitoring systems. We did take some test data at 50 kHz. The DAQ was stable and should the analysis of this data show no issues we may take production data at this rate later this run.

Best, Mark Macrae Dalton
