RC Report for April 19-125, 2018

We were scheduled for 156 hours of which 124.4h (80%) was available and 112.6 hours (72%) was productively used. We lost time due to configuration changes related to special tests and to DAQ startup issues and crashes.

When I started as RC we were running with the thin diamond radiator and 3.4 mm collimator. We finished up this running with some special tests: current scans both with and without a Tungsten foil in the beamline to absorb X-rays and running with the regular diamond radiator and the small collimator hole taking data suitable for rho asymmetry and a current scan. We then moved the active collimator to the 5 mm hole and installed 100 um of Tungsten in the beamline upstream of the beam profiler. A collimator scan was performed to center the beam. Working with the MCC we attempted to do some fast raster scan but the failed to get motion on the beam. The convergence of the beam was adjusted. The remainder of the time was used for production running, cycling through the four diamond orientations and two converter thicknesses.
