The period Wednesday, February 7 to Wednesday, February 14 was dominated by accelerator problems. Leading into the week the accelerator had been unable to deliver high current to Hall C. Day shift on Thursday, February 8 was used to make the A and B beams collinear in the injector but this did not solve the problems. It was decided to do a major accelerator retune, which took beam away from Friday morning until early Tuesday Owl. Beam returned with the wrong currents for the tagger dipole and quadrupole magnets and operations was unable to find a good focus for the beam. Over the Tuesday and Wednesday a number of different solutions were tested but focus was not improved, transmission through the collimator was lower by 15% and the CBSA enhancement was low too. During this week we managed to use about 40 of the scheduled 128 hours of beam. We began to plan for studies to understand the rate dependence of the normalized yields.
