Run Coordinator report: spring 2019 w8

The previous week of PrimeX running was quite smooth. We took production data from Wednesday until Sunday afternoon. At 3:30 pm on Sunday, we began emptying the target to prepare for a TAC run and empty target running. We did not begin TAC runs until Monday evening. Noisy BPMs and calibration of the active collimator (implementing proper pedestal subtraction) prevented us from starting it sooner. The TAC runs (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3669644 for more information) were stopped Tuesday afternoon and empty target running proceeded until 7am on Wednesday the 20th when RF recovery began. We refilled the target and people were able to access the hall to do some work.

We did not lose much beam time this week as accelerator remained stable after the energy change from the previous week. We had to make a few unplanned accesses that caused some down time. On Thursday March 14, we lost connection with an FCAL crate, which needed a new fan tray (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3667703). Another access was made on the evening of Friday March 15 due to issues with the PS/ST crate. There was some issue with the network connection that ended up fixing itself after much troubleshooting from Hovanes (https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3668424). In total, these and other minor issues created 6.9 hours of unplanned downtime.
