Brief summary of the discussion on 02/07/2025 (Eugene)
- The scientists responsible for a given detector should know the configuration of the the electronics (the front-end and special power supplies, as ISEG or MPOD), how many spares they have and the location of the spares. They should be able to replace any unit and configure it for running.
- The Fast Electronics group will take care of the power supplies for crates as VXS,VME,CAEN,Wiener, the fan blocks, and the crates themselves. The details will be discussed further with the Electronics group.
- FADC-250s used to cause most of problems in the past. We need several people able to replace them, which may include reloading the firmware. The firmware may be different in different systems. Benedikt Zihlmann will make a map of the firmware versions. We will also need an instruction on how to download the firmware. Alex Somov will help with that.
