Meeting time and location:
- 9:30 am EST (JLab time) remote only
- Connection information
Agenda
- Preparation of parts for ECAL modules -- Sasha
- Crystals:
- Received 1100 short signal cables [3]
- Procurement parts for the LMS:
- - Waiting for 7,600 ft of optical fibers. PR department prepared PO but forgot to send it out
- Module fabrication -- Sasha
- All modules have been fabricated, checked, and inventorized (about 1610 modules in total)
- Ongoing projects -- Sasha, all
- Visual inspections of fabricated modules [4] - done
- All crystals moved to Hall D[5] [6][7] - done
- Tested, labeled, and bundled all 100 (+ 2 spares) [8] signal cables connected from the flash ADC to the patch panel [9] - done
- Test and label 1100 short signal cables - ongoing
- Tested fabricated modules using LMS [10] - done (need to update the wiki page)
- Cutting optical fibers and gluing plastic caps [11], waiting for 7600 ft of optical fibers
- Work on refurbishing LG modules rejected during installation
- - Fixed about 120 modules with different small issues: soldering compound bumps on the brass assembly, small bubbles on silicon cookies, small issues with wrapping
- - Mindy is working on re-wrapping of about 30 crystals. She also continues soldering wires to the PMT connectors
- Report from students
- Testing of PMT dividers -- Sasha / Vlad
- -Continue with testing dividers, should be done during this/next week
- Proceedures
- Installation of the FCAL2 detector & integration to GlueX -- Sasha / Arshak / Vlad / Hakob
- Detector installation [12][13][14]
- Detector installation page
- Updates from the meetings with Tim's group [15]
- Discussion of the FCAL2 installation procedures [16]
- Final mapping of low-voltage cables
- Mindy continues with wrapping crystals and soldering wires to sockets.
- Projects for summer students
- Summer Students (2023)
- Light monitoring system -- Arshak
- Discussion of the budget request for 2024 -- Sasha (all)
- Miscellaneous
- - Profiler to measure shower shape
- - Veto in the insert region
- Simulation/Analysis
- Pictures of potential PID/Veto upgrade -- Simon
