#** FDC Garfield simulations were performed using Magboltz. The efficiency vs DOCA shows different shape compared to geant simulations. - FDC Garfield simulations were performed using Magboltz. The efficiency vs DOCA shows different shape compared to geant simulations. The threshold should be adjusted to get about 99% at small distances (as Berni suggested), however the efficiency becomes even more different (flatter). The conclusion: need more detailed comparison b/n Garfield and Geant in terms of timing and amplitude distributions.
- The gas tests showed that the MFCs of package 1 and 2 give very similar flows, and don't explain the big difference in the Ar decay slopes. The filling slope is also somewhat different between the two packages. Higher level of O2 and N2 in package 2, compared to the other three, may indicate some leakage b/n the MFC and the exhaust tubes. Further studies are needed.

- Eugene confirmed that there will be money for at least one large-scale prototype and we should start with the project a.s.a.p. to be able to spent the money this FY.
