FDC Update
CDC Update
- 1256 wires still to be strung. Currently working on stringing row 21, on schedule for early Feb.
- Gary has been looking at Delrin for the upstream plenum wall material and testing glues with it.
- Gary also has a proposal for an inexpensive cooling ring for CDC electronics made from Tygon tubing with metal fittings and holes drilled at 45 degrees. Tim will double-check the temperature limits with Fernando.
- The Swiss cheese-plate and some small parts will be shipped to CMU in Jan.
- Tim said that the Rohacell is expected mid-Jan, it is coming from Germany. It will be machined in Feb and sent on to CMU in March. He will try to organise the photogrammetry for February.
- Beni asked how often the wire tensions are measured - a week after stringing and then approx 2 months later.
