CDC Update

  1. As of yesterday 92 straws were strung in layer 28, this is the last of the straight layers. Next week we will move on to stereo, which will probably take a few days to prepare for, whilst the procedures are finalized and some extra assembly equipment modified (the alignment device).
  2. The stringing work is interleaved with testing tension in the wires installed the previous week and performing repeat measurements on older wires.
  3. Kait and Amy have been manufacturing hook up wires.
  4. Gary is busy manufacturing the small pieces required for the swiss cheese plate.
