- Igal gave an update on his η→π0&gamma&gamma simulation and analysis comparing old island algorithm to an updated version from Simon
- New version slightly better signal-to-background
- Larger impact of new code on 3π0 background compared to η→2γ peaking background
- New version slightly better signal-to-background
- Sasha installed 4 new module assemblies on the PS arm in the Hall we use for checking modules
- Plan to fabricate another plate used for assembling a second set of modules to get ready for checking in the hall
- Crytur indicated that they could start producing crystals in February
- PMTs continue arriving at lab; diameter checking continues
- Planning to restart module construction in December
- Help from Tim's group will continue
- Discussions regarding help from detector support group ongoing
- Phil may be able to provide students to help out next summer
- Bill B. (GWU) will also check if can provide student manpower, also can do PMT divider checks at GWU
- PMT divider redesign still not finalized, would be nice to do beam test during upcoming SRC experiment
- Some discussion of building a 5x5 lead tungstate prototype
