Agenda

  • Preparation of parts for ECAL modules -- Sasha
    • Crystals:
      - Prepare to send 11 crystals back to SICCAS [1].
    • Received 1100 short signal cables [2]
    • Received 140 HV cables
    • Received all optical fibers.
  • Module fabrication -- Sasha
    • All modules have been fabricated, checked, and inventorized (about 1610 modules in total)
  • Ongoing projects -- Sasha, all
    • Visual inspections of fabricated modules [3] - done
    • All crystals moved to Hall D[4] [5][6] - done
    • Tested, labeled, and bundled all 100 (+ 2 spares) [7] signal cables connected from the flash ADC to the patch panel [8] - done
    • Test and label 1100 short signal cables - ongoing
    • Tested fabricated modules using LMS [9] - done (need to update the wiki page)
    • Cutting optical fibers and gluing plastic caps [10], waiting for 7600 ft of optical fibers
    • Report from students
    • Refurbished (remove soldering bumps and rewrap) 42 modules. One more layer of the detector will be installed today.
    • Need to wrap and fabricate about 30 modules using newly received crystals (will replace some already existing modules with low-quality crystals). Plan to finish with this during next week [11].
    • Tested and labeled 120 HV cables
    • Preparing optical fibers for the LMS
- cut all remaining (500 ft) optical fibers [12]
- glue plastic caps on all fibers [13]
