Inspection of Components
- Eighty (40) light guides unpacked?
Four (4) of each size, "A" through "J?"
- Light guides inspected for scratches and other abberations?
- Checked that all light guides are acceptably sized using the gauge plate?
- Module face inspected for scratches, dead fibers, and other abberations?
List number/location of dead fibers.
Cleaning of Components
- Module face cleaned?
- Light guide faces cleaned?
- Light guide LED mounting hole cleaned?
Setup and Preparation
- Light guide alignment fixture fit to module face?
- Glue dispensing unit powered on?
- Settings correct (Pressure - 25 psi, Time - 0.050, Vacuum operational)?
- UV light source powered on?
- Rotary vacuum pump powered on, valve to wand assemply open?
Column One
- Light guides arranged from "A" at top of wand to "J" at bottom of wand?
- O-ring surfaces checked, vacuum gauge reads appropriate value?
- Vacuum wand elevated, suction will hold light guide column?
- Glue applied, set successfully?
- Excess glue removed?
- Glue joints acceptable?
If not, give correction page (to follow).
Column Two
- Light guides arranged from "A" at top of wand to "J" at bottom of wand?
- O-ring surfaces checked, vacuum gauge reads appropriate value?
- Vacuum wand elevated, suction will hold light guide column?
- Glue applied, set successfully?
