Tried to follow the instructions for Ubuntu (running Pop!_OS, which is essentially Ubuntu 22.04 underneath the hood):

sudo apt-get install singularity-container Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Reading state information... Done Package singularity-container is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source

E: Package 'singularity-container' has no installation candidate

Not sure whether this is working for anyone; so, for now leaving it in place.
