Minutes

1. Private wiki - we decided to move the meeting pages to the private wiki. The new page is here.
2. Intensity scans - Beni wants to look into tagger efficiency, will coordinate with Justin. Justin (not here) was working on comparisons of production rates, Naomi & Simon wanted to do some investigations but haven't had time.
3. Detector status:
   • CDC
     • Pressure sensor update (Naomi) - at the controls meeting we asked about getting a more sensitive & stable measurement. Bobby is going to adjust the readout settings but Beni thinks that the measurement device is already at its limit. Also, for the last part of the spring 2023 run, after the pressure sensor readings were problematic (thought to be because the sensor was dislodged) the sensor on GasBarPress1 was replaced with the new sensor (in its protective cage) and then the original sensor was reconnected to GasBarPress2. Naomi asked for them to be switched back and documented, and any tests done with the new sensor (Bobby was also going to adjust its offset), as we have an extensive collection of data from the old sensor & so I do not want it altered.

4. Tracking
   • Simon's work on improving the DC alignment looks very promising, he also has also improved the SC position for 2017 only after closer inspection of the survey.
   • Naomi's phi SDMEs are quite inspiring. She will find out from Sean how to manipulate the MC to track down a depression.
   • Keigo repeated Naomi's analysis for 2020 and the interesting points look more interesting in 2020.
   • The conclusion is that we all need to repeat everything using Simon's improved geometry. He will share his sqlite file with Alex, who will run a small analysis launch over a subset of the spring 17 runs.
5. Differences between run periods - Naomi shared spring 17 low and high intensity phi xsection comparison, they look pretty close, still has to produce the same for 2018.
