Abstract:

The quality of Vulcan Resources Inc. lead was evaluated herein, based on overall condition, dimensional uniformity, and response to plastic deformation. The results of all tests confirm that the lead meets the GlueX specifications as contracted to Vulcan and, therefore, signal the start of production of lead towards the construction of the GlueX Barrel Calorimeter.
