Abstract:
We studied the energy resolution and microscope counter rate for various dipole magnet pole widths. We estimated the impact of non-parallel surfaces of the dipole tagger magnet poles on the energy resolution of tagged electrons. These studies were presented at the magnet review and were used to optimize the magnet size and the location of the focal plane.
