Abstract:
The partial wave analysis of the reactions gp->pipipiN for two different final states have been used to detector design issues related to resolution, low energy thresholds and particle reconstruction. These studies indicate that the resolution of the Barrell Calorimeter is one of the most sensitive parameters to minimizing feedthrough into the exotic 1-+ channel.
