Attending: Albert, Beni, Alex, Andrew, David L., Elton, Ilya, Mark, Nikhil, Rory, Sergey, Simon
- Previous CPP meeting: Feb 9, 2022
- Previous CPP Software meeting: Π polarizability Software Meeting Feb 10, 2022
- Announcements
- Register for the GlueX collaboration meeting Feb 23-25. GlueX-Collaboration-Feb-2022
- Elton pointed Andrew to his talk from the ERR, which could serve as an outline for the talk.
- Action Items
- Software/Calibration
- Simon: Added changes to fill in the charge instead of the dE/dx for the MWPCs. Pull request making its way through the system
- David: Files using Andrew's latest BH mu+mu- at the 6 GeV coherent peak have been produced and passed on to Nikhil for processing
- Software meeting tomorrow
- Plan for diamond simulations (Richard)
- MWPC Testing
- Move to Hall D
- FMWPC Log Book
- Beni has posted photos of the move to https://halldweb.jlab.org/talks/2022/CPP_NPP/
- Sergey: CPU still in TRD crate, but can be moved when CPP is ready. First version of DAQ system promised by Sasha by the end of this month. We might get an update at the collaboration meeting.
- Beni: Fernando and Nick have decided to install a full-size crate on the north side of the platform. This can accommodate the CPP crate and also other electronics, e.g. a NIM crate to produce the scintillator trigger.
- David: Is the schedule for the CDC cosmic test holding? Beni: He will enforce schedule.
- Elton: Crate in rack from EEl126 could be used for CPP to give flexibility when coordinating with the CDC. Beni: Will check with Nick.
- CPP and NPP Experiment Configuration
- CPP-NPP trigger
- DAQ and Electronic Setup (Sergey and Beni)
- Discussion on PID systematics (Elton)
- Elton presented thought on the systematics uncertainties coming from the PID MVA using a toy MC. See slides. Much discussion.
