Attending: Albert, Alex, Alison, Andrew, Beni, David H., David L., Elton, Ilya, Rory, Simon
- Previous CPP meeting: Jul 13, 2022
- Previous CPP Software meeting: Π polarizability Software Meeting May 5, 2022
- Announcements
- Action Items
- Spread Sheet with Run List (Albert)
- Statistics for CPP-NPP
- Ilya: Questioned whether our estimate of 10% of triggers should be our goal. Rory's early estimates were 15% of time. We will revisit the assumptions and review the goals. We can take more empty target data if desired.
- Software/Calibration, Simulations
- Track updates (Simon)
- Tracks coming from downstream of the target are not found but could be used to clean up the neutral shower list
- Simon is working on code that can find the track from downstream
- Skims for the run (Sean). Skims are available at /cache/halld/RunPeriod-2022-05/calib/ver01/
- pi0 for calibration
- CDC_goodtrack requires one quality track.
- CTOF events
- High energy events > 3 GeV in calorimeter
- Phi events with forward K+K- for calibrations of forward tracks
- Sean has not looked carefully at the outputs; comments/suggestions and feedback is welcome.
- Ilya: Asked Sean about the selection cuts for the FCAL pi0 skims
- BH e+e- analysis (Andrew)
- Showed plots of asymmetry with no accidental subtraction. Clear asymmetry seen but likely diluted by out of time tagger hits
- Rory: Analyzing power ~ 70% and polarization is ~70%.
- Data sample is 2022-ver01 rest files (runs 100740-10899) Time calibrations were not yet completed.
- New monitoring runs with better calibrated runs (100995-present) will be used.
- Alex: Could be a monitoring launch for earlier runs with better parameterizations.
- Track updates (Simon)
- Photon beam / tagger / diamonds
- DAQ and Electronic Setup (Sergey and Beni)
- CPP-NPP Trigger
- Current Run
- CPP and NPP Experiment Configuration
- Documentation
- Other business
