• Preparation of parts for ECAL modules -- Sasha
  • Crystals:

    - Received all crystals from CRYTUR [1].

    - 70 SICCAS crystals were shipped to us

  • Received 600 short signal cables [2], ready to label
  • Procurement parts for the LMS:

    - Waiting for 7,600 ft of optical fibers (August/September)

• Module fabrication -- Sasha
  • All modules have been fabricated, checked, and inventorized (about 1610 modules in total)
  • Finished with fixin about 20 modules with small imperfections (overlapping Tedlar)
• Ongoing projects -- Sasha, all
  • Visual inspections of fabricated modules [3] - done
  • Prepare to move modules into Hall D [4] [5][6], wrap modules with sort towels.
  • Prepare space for the ECAL modules (shelves, etc.) in Hall D. Moved 134 CRYTUR and 475 SICCAS crystals (609 in total to Hall D) [7].
  • Tested, labeled, and bundled (86 bundles out of 100) [8] signal cables connected from the flash ADC to the patch panel [9]. Receive cartridges for the printer, will resume labeling and cable bundling today.
  • Removing signal cables from the FCAL and rearranging signal cables in the hall [10] Rearranging_FCAL_cables - done

    - 400 signal cables were removed,re-labeled and bundled

    - all cables have been re-arranged, two VXS crates can be removed (will be used by the ECAL)

    - install two flash ADCs

  • Cutting optical fibers and gluing plastic caps [11], waiting for 7600 ft of optical fibers
  • Report from students
  • Test fabricated modules using LMS [12], 928 modules have been tested (need to update the wiki page)
  • Work on refurbishing LG modules (wrapping, PMTs, etc.)
• Testing of PMT dividers -- Sasha / Vlad
  • All electronics components received, will be shiped to the company to fabricate dividers today (Chris)

• Installation of the FCAL2 detector & integration to GlueX -- Sasha / Arshak / Vlad / Hakob

• 70 SICCAS crystals will be shipped to JLab
• Short signal cables for dark room continue to arrive -- have 800 ready for labeling
• No news on outstanding LMS fibers (expect 7600 feet with the next month or two?)
• All modules on site have been fabricated, some needed to be refurbished
  • 928 modules have been tested using dark box in EEL
  • Wrapping in soft plastic in preparation for moving to hall (609 have already been transferred)
  • Preparing to start stacking insert crystals -- alignment analysis underway, need to add some shims
• Arshak received fiber stripper, started stripping ends of fibers for integrating sphere, polishing continues
• 86/100 cable bundles ready to go
