• Simulations/Analysis
  • FCAL2 Photon Classification Feature Space -- Azizah
    • True photons and splitoffs present differently in the FCAL and FCAL2.
• Preparation of parts for FCAL2 modules -- Sasha
  • Crystals. [1] Discuss possibility to order 20 more CRYTUR crystals during this F.Y. Have already received 5 more crystals from physics division].
    • currently available/ordered + CCAL: 1593 + (9) (need more spares)
  • Meeting with the DSG group: Mindy and George will continue working on the project in September
  • Preparation of parts[2][3][4]. Remaining components:
    • 300 brass assemblies (Keith and Chris will continue to work on them, waiting for straps)
    • 200 light guides, will be delivered during a couple of next weeks.
    • 400 PMT housings, expect to receive during next two months (bottleneck now)
  • Wrapped CRYTUR crystals: 682
    • All currently available
• Module fabrication -- Sasha
  • Received 72 PMT housings from Tim a couple of days ago; used practically all of them
  • Status of fabrication
  • Fabricated modules: Total 1206 (a new milestone)
    • All SICCAS 576 SICCAS
    • 630 CRYTUR, Remaining: 52
  • Clean room EEL126 [5][6]
    • Expect to move to the new lab EEL108 (the same building) [7]
    • Work on amending safety docs
  • All students will leave during this week (11 students have been working on the project during this summer)
