Past 24 hours

• Production data at 200nA on the liquid He target.
• FCAL HV Scan with solenoid field on
• Trigger studies and rate scan performed by Sasha
  • Added low-threshold trigger for FCAL (0.5GeV Trigger threshold)
  • 2 noisy FCAL channels were masked
• Beam stability on the active collimator (Beni)
• Shift summaries:

  • 1600-2200 08/09

Issues

• Minor issue with one shift worker not showing up. Thanks to Karthik for taking that role on short notice.

• Continue taking production data at 200nA.

• Maintenance day
• Work done in hall:
  • Removed Be target, Installed He target and ramped magnet:
  • Fixed connection for missing channels in ST:
  • Replaced FCAL bases & one PMT (Malte): [1], [2]
• LHe Target full and ready after ~11 hours, [3] (Chris Carlin)
• Extrapolations from harp scans
• FCAL HV Correction for outliers (Igal)
• 308M Triggers collected while target was filling and solenoid ramping.
• 404M Triggers collected with target full and solenoid ramped.

• FDC-RF selftiming peak is missing

• Begin(continue) production on LHe Target @200nA
• Wednesday, 9/14: MCC plans to open the tunnel with the goal to bring up as much RF as possible. They plan to spend ~1.5 shifts for this.
