Agenda

  • Preparation of parts for ECAL -- Sasha
    • - signal cables and 2 patch panels [1] - done
    • - HV short cables: done
    • - HV long cable, 18 ready (out of 36)
    • - HV distribution boards: not designed
    • - LV cables: missing about 20 cables, waiting for the last delivery batch.
    • - LV distribution boards [2]. One board out of 4 is ready
    • - LED: the prototype of the LED board has been received. Chris will populate it with components
  • Ongoing projects
  • Testing of PMT dividers -- Sasha / Vlad / George / Mindy
    • - Testing procedure [3]
    • - All dividers have been fabricated and tested by George [4]
      • Continue removing regulators from the PCB (about 70 regulators have been removed, require re-testing dividers)
  • Installation of the FCAL2 detector & integration to GlueX -- Sasha / Vlad / Hakob / Laveen
  • Summer students -- Sasha
    • - 2 students from UNCW (May 15), 1 student from GWU (May 19) All paper work has been completed, they are ready to come.
    • - Projects: document all test results, assist with the cable/divider installation, install signal cables on patch panel, work on the ECAL monitoring plots
  • Beam tests with the PS
      • measure shower beam profile and reconstruction in the crystal/LG transition region
      • (install prototype with 5x5 PbWO4 modules + ? LG)
  • Other hardware projects
