  1. Previous meeting: Aug 20, 2015
  2. Announcements
    • Status of fADC125 DAQ system shipment to UMass
  3. MWPC Drift Time (Andrew and Sean)
  4. MWPC Prototype (Robert)
  5. Gas Gain (Michael)
  6. JLab Flash
    • Followed instructions from Dave
    • Able to configure and run the FADC
    • Used pulse generator to trigger system using TS#1
    • Saved data onto thumb drive
    • Looked at data with ROOT, but do not understand what is being plotted.
    • In Dave's absence, we speculate that the data output consists of integral and times, but not waveforms.
    • Elton will send links to documentation
      • Electronics Subsystems Documentation
      • For TI Module see GlueX-doc-1030. Note that you need access to GlueX portal. Rory should know how to access this, else ask Elton or David.
      • For data formats, see File:FADC125 dataformat 250 modes.docx. There have been many mods to the F125, but I believe this is the relevant one for you.
      • For the code that decodes the f125 data, look on your single board computer for the following library: fa125Lib.C (it is probably in the /fa125 subfolder). Take a look at the fa125DecodeData function where the decoding is done.
  7. Lepton Pair production study
    • Michael waiting on getting a JLab computer account. Elton will send him information on how to register.
  8. Next meeting
    • Will consider times once the new semester gets underway.
